My Experience of Learning English in Unit 2 of Grade 7

Learning Vocabulary is Not Boring

During the second unit of Grade 7 English, I had a thrilling experience in learning vocabulary. Before that, I used to think that learning vocabulary was a tedious task. However, my teacher introduced us to different ways of learning new words. We played word games, sang English songs, and read English stories. I was surprised that learning English vocabulary could be so much fun!

Practice Makes Perfect

During this unit, we also spent a lot of time practicing speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English. We had group discussions, listened to podcasts, read short articles, and wrote compositions. Through the practice, I realized that practice makes perfect. I became more confident in using English and could communicate with my classmates in English more fluently.

Don’t Be Afraid to Make Mistakes

One of the most important things I learned during the unit was not to be afraid of making mistakes. In the past, I was often hesitant to speak up in English because I was worried about making mistakes. But my teacher encouraged us to make mistakes and learn from them. She said that making mistakes was a natural part of the learning process and that we should not be afraid to try. This advice helped me become more confident in using English.

In conclusion, learning English in Unit 2 of Grade 7 was an enjoyable and rewarding experience for me. By using interactive ways to learn vocabulary, practicing regularly, and not being afraid of making mistakes, I gained more confidence in using English.
