My Experience of Studying English in Junior High School Unit 2
Starting Out in Unit 2
I remember when I entered junior high school, I felt a little overwhelmed with all the new things I had to learn. But, when I began studying English in Unit 2, I was excited to improve my language skills.
Learning Vocabulary and Grammar
In this unit, we learned a lot of new vocabulary related to sports and activities. We also learned complex grammatical structures such as the present perfect tense and the passive voice.
Challenging Listening and Speaking Activities
I found the listening and speaking activities in this unit to be especially challenging. We had to listen to recordings and answer questions about them, and we also had to do role-plays and presentations in front of the class. It was nerve-wracking, but I definitely improved my comprehension and communication skills.
Collaborating with Classmates
One thing that I particularly enjoyed about Unit 2 was working with my classmates. We did group projects and activities that required us to use English to communicate and collaborate effectively. It was a great way to improve our social and interpersonal skills.
Overall, Unit 2 was a challenging but rewarding experience for me. I was able to learn new vocabulary and grammar, improve my listening and speaking abilities, and collaborate effectively with my classmates. I look forward to continuing to study English in junior high school and beyond.
