My Favorite Animal
My name is Lucy, and I am in sixth grade. My favorite animal is a dolphin, and I am going to tell you why.
Dolphins have a sleek, grey body that looks very smooth when they are swimming. They also have a dorsal fin on their back that stands up tall and can help them move quickly through the water.
Dolphins are very smart animals. They are known for their playful behavior and have even been trained to do tricks like jump through hoops. They are also very social animals and can communicate with each other using a complex system of clicks and whistles.
Dolphins live in the ocean and prefer to swim in warm water. They are found all over the world, but some of the best places to see them are in Florida, Hawaii, and Australia.
In conclusion, dolphins are amazing creatures. They are beautiful, intelligent, and fun to watch. I hope that I get to see one in person someday!
